Itinerary
Day 1: Saturday
Arrive and check-in at your accommodation. In the afternoon, you'll visit the iconic Karnak Temple, one of the largest religious structures ever built. It is home to a vast collection of statues, massive columns, and impressive halls. Afterward, you'll proceed to the Luxor Temple, a stunning structure dedicated to the Theban Triad and known for its beautiful avenue of sphinxes. After your visits, enjoy the evening and relax aboard your vessel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Sunday
Start the day with a visit to the West Bank of Luxor, where you’ll explore the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, and the Temple of Hatshepsut. These sites are home to the tombs of pharaohs and nobles, along with breathtaking mortuary temples. Afterward, set sail toward Edfu, passing through the town of Esna, where you'll enjoy the tranquil Nile scenery. Spend the night aboard your vessel.
Day 3: Monday
Early in the morning, sail to Edfu, home of the well-preserved Horus Temple, dedicated to the god Horus. This temple is one of the best-preserved in Egypt, known for its impressive pylons and detailed carvings. After your visit, continue your journey down the Nile to Kom Ombo. Here, you’ll visit the Sobek Temple, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon-headed god Haroeris. Following this visit, your cruise will continue to Aswan, where you'll spend the night on board.
Day 4: Tuesday
Upon arrival in Aswan, you'll visit the Unfinished Obelisk, a massive monument that was abandoned during construction due to a crack in the stone. This site offers valuable insight into ancient Egyptian quarrying techniques. Next, you’ll head to Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Located on an island in the Nile, the temple is known for its beautiful architecture and peaceful surroundings. After your visits, spend the night in Aswan.
Day 5: Wednesday
On the final day, check out from your accommodation. Then, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on a Felucca, a traditional Egyptian sailing boat, to visit the Botanical Garden on Kitchener’s Island. The garden is home to a variety of exotic plants and provides stunning views of the Nile and surrounding landscapes. Afterward, your journey will come to a close.
